Let’s Improve Our Approach to Health with Healthcare 3.0
A Bite-Size Read for Your Health and Your Waistline
Wish I had a nickel for every time someone told me a story of going to the doctor because something’s wrong and the doctor says, “there’s nothing wrong” because the lab work doesn’t show anything “abnormal.” It happened to me a few years ago with my lower back. Doctors said my range of motion was normal, they wouldn’t accept that it wasn’t my normal and told me there was nothing to do. Oh! And did I mention they spent the majority of the appointment typing into a computer and I waited 90-minutes (on average) for 10–15 minute appointments? I invite you to join me, and many others, envisioning a better system. We call it Healthcare 3.0

This was a fragmented system of healthcare, with inconsistent quality, yet it fostered connection between practitioner and patient which was lost in the next phase.
