As 2024 comes to an end, I want to take a moment to say: Cheers! What are we cheers-ing to other than the beginning of a new year? I’m SO glad you asked!

This is a perfect time for a bit of reflection and intention-setting. Maybe you’re winding down, looking back on this year’s wins, or getting ready to jump into the new year with purpose. And while I’m not the biggest fan of New Year’s resolutions, I am a fan of choosing a word, a mantra, or a commitment to guide me in the new year.

As a health coach, to help you celebrate and stay balanced, I turned “Cheers” into an acronym. So, grab your glass, take a breath, and let’s make a toast to 2025. Ready? Let’s break it down:

Connect. Connection is key to health and longevity. Think of the Blue Zones, the places in the world where people live the longest and healthiest lives and community, connection, and purpose are priorities. Whether it’s spending time with family, friends, or a broader community, connecting gives us value, motivation, and purpose. So, as we celebrate, let’s connect intentionally and find that spark of purpose.

Hydrate. Yes, you’ve heard it before, but it’s worth repeating: drink your water! Truth be told, hydration is about more than just water…
